Mini-Course: Solar Activity

Service Description

This online mini-course is dedicated to teaching advanced training in solar science, monitoring and predicting solar activity for the purpose of aurora chasing. This course is a one-time only offer and spaces are limited to 25. The course consist of two sessions of 3 to 4 hours held via Zoom on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2024. We will dive deep into heliophysics theory, solar surface features and events, solar cycles, along with all the useful tools to help us monitor the Sun. Therefore, this mini-course is mainly designed for aurora chasers with some prior knowledge and experience. Attendants will be able to access a recording of the session afterwards and will also have to possibility to get exclusive 1-on-1 help on email/messenger in the future free of charge.
